Hi,

I posted a question here the other day asking for opinions/experiences concerning a company called HR Knives. The post got moved to "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" forum.

Here is the description of that forum;

FEEDBACK: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!

This is your area to tell about your experiences (Good or Bad) with dealers, sellers, and individuals you've bought, sold, and traded with."

I have no "feedback" to offer about this seller. Feedback is what i'm looking for. I searched that forum for "HR Knives" and there was no mention of the seller.

I have no experience dealing with this seller other than placing an order with him over the weekend. I was looking for people who have dealt with him, the more recent the better.

I posted it here in the General forum because it seems to fit better here than "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!" forum which is for feedback.

I have no feedback to offer on this seller,

Because General Knife Discussion is for discussing knives, not dealers, stores, or experiences. The latter is where the Feedback section comes in. Even though you have no feedback offer, you are asking others for theirs.

You are the one looking for feedback... that's why it would have been moved to the " FEEDBACK " subforum.

Well, i guess, if you guys say so.

But the forum's definition says nothing about asking for or looking for feedback. The definition says the forum is the place to LEAVE feedback.

Forum:*FEEDBACK: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!

I searched for feedback on the company in that forum and there was none.

Lol...Regardless of your interpretation on the words , Rev is still trying to help you out in your other thread as am I.

I know. And i extended my thanks for his help in the other thread.

And thank you too. :)

No thanks needed on my end. Just not worth splitting hairs over wording when people are trying to help you is all I was trying to say.

And shouldn't this post of mykem's be moved to Tech Support? Hardly seems to belong in General Knife Discussion.

Look at it this way.
You are asking people to give feedback...so any replies in accordance would fit the description of the GBU; thus making it a GBU thread. (Does that make more sense?)

You could rephrase your question so it makes sense to you.

"I'm looking for feedback from you guys about a seller you guys may have bought, sold, or traded with before. Since I'm looking for feedback about the guy and his service and the quality of his knives, I figure the Feedback forum is where this should go.

I'd post in the General forum but since I'm asking about the guy's business then it probably isn't the place for it. However, if I wanted to talk about the material he uses that I don't know about, or grinds that he uses, or overall information about the knife itself, then General would probably be the place I'd posit my questions.

Thank you"
