Why we still don't see jimping on the ss police model?

I think the main complaint for the SS police is the handle being too slippery, and the jimping we have on the police 3 shows that spyderco is well aware of that. I don't understand why it's still not available on the SS model which IMHO can definitely use some additional friction on the thumb rest. I do own a police 3 but I still miss the solid and slick feel of the SS C07. I believe a stainless C07 in the exact same profile as the police 3 will be a winner. even if we keep the current edge profile on the SS. I don't think it will be too costly to add jimping to the current SS models.

I dont think the lack of jimping is a problem. The slipping is a matter of rest of the handle, not the thump resting space - this place hold tight.

The knife has gone relatively unchanged aesthetically speaking for a very long time 30 years almost (SS handles, backlock, saber grind, and no jimping). If it were a huge complaint, don't you think Spyderco would have done something by now?
