Why were two of my sales threads locked? No one is responding to my report button attempts

heres what happened.
1- XXXXX posts to my Tanto thread of today, even though no postings to thread was requested in the initial opener.
2- I report thread and ask the post be removed. He had asked about the "other" knife in one pic so I posted a link about it to his personal page, giving him a link to a June 4 sales thread about it.
3- XXXXX then apparently goes to that sales thread, reads it and then, again against instructions, posts to my thread.
4- I then report that post and ask for removal of the post since it also went against initial instructions in my opener.
5- I look up and find the posts were removed BUT BOTH THREADS ARE THEN CLOSED/LOCKED

I cannot understand why a moderator would lock these threads and wish someone would contact me about it
 
I thought they had been reinstated, but just looked again and they are still locked.....................??????

On the top of each closed thread is a comment about needing to read the rules. I know the rules and did not violate them. What I NEED is an explanation, please.
