Why won't CRK make a small umnumzaan?

Just my opinion but to me the Zaan is about as perfect as it gets.

To me the Zaan is a heavy duty knife. I don't know if it would be as practical to make a small version.

I think you are correct about the heavy duty mindset, but hinderer makes a 3" version of the Xm that seems to sell fine. (Though I much prefer the sebenza) With that being said, I would love to see a small sebenza or zaan with the ceramic detent and lock!

Because Chris has moved on to the Sebenza 25 and a Small Umnumzaan is never going to happen. Do a quick search and you'll see. I started or contributed to many, many threads on the topic.

Your best bet is to concentrate your efforts on a Small Sebenza 25 and forget about the possibility of a Small Umnumzaan.

Blade is just around the corner--you never know, this could be the year. That's what I tell myself every year before SHOT and Blade.

The Inkosi is to small. The small Umnum needs a 3" to 3.25" blade length.
