I really like the blackwash effect on zt 0560bw and 0300bw knives. but wondering why they only did it to 1 side of the frame. is it because of cost issues?
how to do the blackwash to the other side?

thanks

Are you talking about the scale underneath the G-10 scale or the other side of the titanium?

You folks have any pictures to clue us in to what we're talking about?

I gotta know, I just saw a 0550BW on BHQ (it says coming soon...stumbled across it in the KAI section).

One scale is G-10, you can't BW G-10.

I thought this would have been the simple answer! I didn't think the question could have possibly concerned this being the pertinent problem.

Thanks bob. My fears be calmed.

You guys hear anything elsewise about a 550BW?

just to clarify, I am referring to the G10 scale. it would be even better looking with blackwashed both sides Ti scales

Gotcha. You'd rather scrap the G10 and go full Ti blackwashed on both sides. I can imagine it would look great, but be greater in price as well. Not a bad idea

Speaking of...

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a limited run Blackwashed 801 with an S90V blade?

After the 801CF, of course.
