I have had my Wicked edge system for a couple months now. I know the ins and outs of my WE, I've even sharpened my own Hinderers
so if that doesn't show my confidence I don't know what will. But yesterday I received my first Emerson in a trade, a Mini (or micro?) commander. This is my first knife with a chisel grind and I was wondering, is the wicked edge capable of sharpening this edge? How do you sharpen your chisel grinds on the wicked edge (if you do)? Thanks for replies in advance.

It's pretty easy to do. Most Emersons are ground between 33-35 degrees on the bevel side. You can use a marker to color in the bevel and then adjust the collar out until it's hitting the whole bevel to the edge. You may have to go beyond the markings and detents to the very end of the rod to hit it. You can also lower the knife way down and rest it on the top screw instead of on the depth key if necessary to hit the angle. Once you've found your knife position and angle, just sharpen the one side until you achieve the finish you're looking for. At the end, you can use a fine stone and lay it flat on the back side of the blade, lift slightly and deburr it. Then you can bring in the collar on the flat side as tight as possible and strop the blade to finish it out.
