Wicked Edge and Emerson V and Chisel Grinds

Does the standard, base Wicked Edge system work with Emersons of either grind?

Yes it will. I gave my 7A a v edge with the wicked edge and have used it on the chisel edges also.

Its a great investment if you are anal about sharpening. Setup takes some time but actual sharpening goes very quick. I typically use mine if my edge is really bad but just use ceramic stones for a touch up.

I'm not sure how you could, the chisel grind is a zero degree angle.

Just use a ceramic stone or a strop, it's a pretty simple thing to knock off a pronounced burr.

This is what I do. You are only sharpening one side for the chisel edge and it doesn't take much to knock off a burr. It is almost easier to not take the time and set up the second side for the few passes it takes
