wicked edge and hinderer xm 18 3.5" angle offset

Like the title says, I'm going to be sharpening my xm18 3.5" on the wicked edge pro pack 1. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the right side needs to be a couple degrees more obtuse than the left side because if the blade width. Am I correct? I would like to sharpen my spanto to 20 degrees per side, so do I set the left side to 20 and the right side at 22? I ordered an angle cube but it wont be here until next week. Thanks for the help.

That should get you in the ballpark. Angle cube is the way to go though.

Thanks Joe, I may just hold off until the angle cube shows up. I have a few other knives to practice on first anyway
