Wicked Edge and Knife thickness?

I just purchased the Wicked Edge sharpener, and I was wondering if any current owners on this forum know what the max thickness for a knife has to be in order for it to be clamped down into the vise of the Wicked Edge. :confused:

I have some knives that are almost or are 1/4" thick.

Or do you doubt, after the purchase, you can use that system on your knives? :confused:

just some of the more thicker ones though. i would like to be able to sharpen every knife i own using the w.e. system, not just some them, but that wouldn't stop me from canceling my order.
 
I have the Wicked Edge and I routinely sharpen 1/4 inch knives on them such as my ESEE 5 which sharpened up beautifully.

You will just want to be sure you use the system to mark where you clamp it so each time you can repeat the same depth in the vice. You will be gtg!
