Wicked edge angle adjustment

Question for u experts on using the wicked edge. After initial setup with the first set of stones and raising a burr side to side, should u double check the angle as u move through different stones and adjust accordingly? Or should the angle remain exactly the same with all the diamond stones? I normally double check with my angle cube between stones progression and sometimes it may be a bit off but not sure if this may be my cube reading inaccurately

I don't, but, some people do. I do keep an eye on the progress with a wifi microscope. In fact, with a microscope, raising a burr has fallen by the wayside. Once your stones make it to the apex just move up to a finer grit.

Is this a much easier way to ensure u are hitting the apex? Which microscope would u recommend?

I got one with a built in screen but it was crap to use. Then I got one of these Wifi ones and it made sharpening with the WE much more straightforward and enjoyable.
