Wicked Edge Arms

I'm curious about the wicked edge arms. Someone said that they updated them. What are the newest arms that come with the new wicked edge systems?

The new arms look like a ball joint. It only ships with the professional systems, or they are available as an upgrade. Rather than me putting the pic in photobucket, I will take a pic and e- mail it to ya when I get home.

For an expensive system is does seem cheap that they haven't upgraded all the arms.

These are the arms that come with the base model which are improved since the original.

When you say they are improved, do you mean that the play and locking up issues have been fixed out of the box? Last I heard, you had to send the arms back to be improved. This is the reason I haven't purchased, as there doesn't seem to be any clear information from the manufacturer.

- The new arms are supposed to eliminate play, lockup and allows you to get to 13 degrees. That being said, one of my original arms had a little slop in them and Wicked Edge sent me a replacement arm within a few days. I haven't had any other issues with the original arms and have sharpened hundreds of knives.
