Wicked Edge knife clamp question.

Hey everyone,

Been wondering, do any of you guys think it could be harmful to leave a knife clamped on the wicked edge vice for a few days to maybe a week?
Am asking since I've seen someone experience bending of the vice, so thought that could be a reason why.

I've left a knife clamped for a few days a number of times and my vice is still fine. I have done 300+ knives and not a bit of a gap.

One thing I would recommend when you step away from your clamped-up knife on the WEPS - COVER THE BLADE! If it is a folder, just fold the handle up to cover the blade. If it is a fixed blade, I take a small paperback book and slip the pages down over the blade edge. I make it a rule NEVER to walk away from an exposed edge clamped in the WEPS.

All it takes is once to accidentally lean into or brush up against the edge... DOH!
