If you click on the subforum "maintenance, tinkering" etc... you'll see huge debates about which is better - the Wicked Edge or the Edge Pro.
Both are expensive, but both also do what they advertise.
I own the Wicked Edge and I absolutely love it. I purchased the extra sets of stones because 600 grit wasn't enough for me... I got their 800 and 1000 grit, as well as the 1200 / 1600 ceramics, as well as the leather strops with the 14 and 10 micron pastes. I also picked up the curved stones for my recurve blades.
It's simple to learn and use, and once you get the motions down - you can sharpen a blade really quickly. I've been able to sharpen ALMOST anything with it - recurves, flat grinds, etc.. The only one it can't do is a custom made compound chisel grind that I have. (It's only ground on one side, however there are two bevels on the one side - the higher bevel has a forced patina on it, and then there is the edge bevel) The Wicked Edge's geometry isn't set up so that I can sharpen this knife without hitting both bevels and thus grinding off the forced patina on the higher bevel. This is my own problem though because it is a custom knife...
All I can say is that you definitely won't be sorry you went with the Wicked Edge. I love it and it gets my knives TP cutting sharp!
