has anyone used the 3m lapping tape with the wicked edge? i'm very happy with the wicked edge system. any feedback would be appreciated . Ron.
 
Yes Ron I have used the 3-M tapes on the WEPS paddles. I use them after the ceramic paddles. The results are very nice, mirror-like edges honed to perfection. I think you will be happy with the results whether you use the tapes either as strops or hones.
You would think that would be enough, but recently I have been bitten by the perfect edge bug so...
I now have a set of Naniwa Chosera Water stones ready to be mounted on blank paddles which just arrived today in the middle of a snow storm here. I will be experimenting with them and will get back to the forum with the results...it will be some time since I have the whole set of stones which use up four sets of paddles.
