Hello,

Couple of years ago I read here or some where else about replacement stones for wicked edge and edge Pro.
I'm trying to find the website and seller. Seller is based in usa. They have many varieties of stones. Probably ceramico I think. One of them will fit into a blank. People suggested to get it and stick that to a blank.

Price was very cheap and the stones were good. Please help me find that website and seller.

Thanks

What steels do you have because if you have a lot of super steels like S30V and above your better off going with diamonds over ceramic stones for sure.

I have a wusthof 5inch santoku knife. It says high Carbon content metal..
X50 Cr MoV 15.

Thanks

I think you should be be able to get away with water stones with that steel, but if you wanted faster cutting stones wicked edge sell's diamond stones,I would get their diamond stones 400/600 1500/2000 and then get a 2K and 6K Chosera stones from Ken Schwartz for your wicked edge.

If you look Ken up on facebook he will cut stones and mount them for the wicked edge,if he doesn't have the blanks to mount the stones to you can get them from wicked edge directly as well and just use 3M Super 77 glue to glue them with.

Thanks for replying. Could you give link for ken. I'm located in India. The website/ shop that I'm trying to find was willing to shop. In trying to find that particular website.
The are not actually a knife supply website. They would have all kinds of ceramic stones. Circular, block various shapes..

Ken does not have a shop but if you go onto facebook and look up Wade Norton that is me and I also have the profile picture on facebook as I do in the forum, you can see Ken on my friends list.

I also think you maybe able to skype or do facetime with Ken as well and if you don't speak english Ken's with I think is from India.

Thanks, I found the website.. I was looking for Congress stones
I bought their mold master SIC stones for KME and Sharpmaker in 240, 400, and 600 if memory serves. Great additions to my stones. Read up on Silicon Carbide applications generally, and mold masters specifically, here on the forums. I will say I'm liking them as a hobbyist.
