I haven't, (although I've thought about it)... but several users in the WE forum have. As you're probably aware of though, that trim is designed to help protect your hands.

I clamped the sone in my bench vise and used a grinder to trim the edges then cleaned them up with a knife and file. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
