Wicked Edge vs. FFG

So..thread title says it all..I have no issues with clamping a FFG (delica/PM2) into my system. My issue is that the FFGs I own do not come with a sharpening choil..and with how the paddles are made on the WE it prevents me from reaching the heel of the blade due to the ricasso being in the way.

How do you guys deal with this? I’ve seen people who add choils themselves..if that’s my easiest avenue then would anyone be able to steer me in the right direction as to what I will need for this process?

I added one to my Delica using my medium sharpmaker rod. I just used one of the corners to grind a choil.

Cut the edge off the paddles...
