Okay, I want to buy leather for sheaths from them. But which grade of leather? Meaning harness, bridle, skirting, tooling? I had already planned on getting a full back, but dunno which one to get.

I like their standard grade (Utility is even good) carving leather (9-11oz). I ordered the
back and this stuff is fantastic! Talk to Linda Greslick. She's really great to work
with. Here's her email Linda Greslick [lgreslick@wickett-craig.com].

Hope this helps!

I normally buy the sides, about 24 SF in them and then have about 6 feet of the belly split to 7oz which I have use for. there are better parts for more money.
you can talk to Glen or Mat there also, they've been good to me..

I buy 7/8 and 8/9 ounce sides and have the belly removed. Costs a little more but I believe their leather to be as good as any available. I always receive clear leather that is void of tick scars from animals that did NOT have a love affair with barb wire fences. Some craft houses seem to think that scars give leather character---we are not on the same wave length! An inferior product is still just that---inferior!-----------------Sandy
