A friend showed me a khukuri he has but never paid much attention to it. It has wooden carved handle and a real wide blade and is about 19"" long and to me looks like a WW1 model. Has some engraving near top of blade spine about half way where it turns downward. Also has wooden sheath. Steel fittings. Anyone have any idea's or info? (John Powell maybe)

I want to get a pix if I could uncle then i'll e-mail it to you because I don't know how to put a pix on the forun.

It's easy. Click the browse button below, find the pix and open it.

I don't think you can do that unless you are a premium or Gold member. That's why I upgraded.

If you're a basic member and have your own server space (or a free photo hosting account)--then upload the pic to your server or free-photo hosting account.

Then, in bladeforums, you simply click on the IMG button (in the vB code section) and enter the address (e.g. http://www.nosuchserver.com/kukri/mybigkhukuri.jpg) where the image is located and voila!

cheers, B.

Should be grandfathered to gold uncle-- we started this forum in October 98 I think it was. Time goes by fast
