wierd computer question

every once ina a while, using Mozilla, I try to scroll up and down, but what happens instead is that the font becomes huge, or tiny. I don't see what makes this happen. I'm just using the scroll roller on my mouse. Oh, and OSX.

edit:I just figure out how it works. hold down control, and scroll. alternately, use alt, and scroll. wierd.
