Three knife makers were sitting at the bar discussing women....and knives.
The subject of having a mistress came up.
One said he was dedicated to his wife, and thought it helped provide a solid base for his life and knife work.
The second said he had a mistress. She made him happy, and thus he was freed from stress to make better knives.
The third said he had both. The first two spat beer all over the bar, "BOTH!!!"
Yes both, he said. That way, they both think I am with the other woman, and I can get a lot more time in the smithy.
