Wife bought me a kabar bk2, is the tek lok belt attachment designed for this knife?

I want to get a horizontal belt attachment and found this on amazon. Does this work easily with the bk2 or does it take some jimmy riggin?

To the best of my knowledge, the BK-2 sheathe comes ready to go on your belt as is, no tek-lok required.

Ah, you have the version I have. If I recall correctly, a different version of the BK-2 came with a kydex sheathe instead of the nylon sheathe.

I will say this, you might give thought to getting a custom sheathe made by one of the makers here. We have a really, really talented bunch of folks on this board.

Hi wolverine

You can put the large tek lok on your stock BK2 sheath. All you need to do is remove the rivets holding the nylon belt loop then use the screws that will come with the tek lok to mount it.
