Wife impressed by character of People at Blade Show

I just wanted to post a note of appreciation for the wonderful character of so many people in the knife world. My wife was especially impressed by by the actions of Michelle Snody from Texas.

I was looking for my first Neck Knife and was going from table to table trying to find "The Knife" with just the right feel. My loving wife was with me intent on buying that special knife for me as a gift. (Yes, I am a lucky man.) We stopped at Mike and Michelle's table and although I was quite impressed with his work they didn't have "The Knife".

Michelle understood immediately and actually explained it to my wife for me. She then suggested that we talk to Barry and Phillip Jones. To make a long story short We went directly to the Jones' table and found "The Knife" and enjoyed dealing with both them and Frank Sigman who added that special detail to the sheath.

All of this impressed my wife who is used to experiencing a much more Cut-Throat approach to business. She commented several times on how helpful, understanding and considerate people were at the show.

Thanks to everyone who showed my wife what a wonderful group of people I am involved with.

Wow, always refreshing to hear of something like what Michelle did...instead of trying to hassle you into buying one of their knives!

Man, I didn't realize that you arrived at our table in such a manner. It just goes to show you that knifemakers (and thier wives) are some of the nicest people. It sure is nice to have friends like Mike and Michelle.

It was a pleasure doing business with you and your wife. Phillip and I appreciate it.

The one comment I hear from everyone I talked to was about how nice everyone was at the Blade Show. Everyone I met was just super.

It was a pleasure doing business with you and I love the knife.

Unfortunately my wife took it away from me yesterday to hold as a present for our Anniversary or worse Christmas.

I may have to pick up another one to tide me over ; )
