My wife, who never touches my knives, had the day off while I was working today. When I got home, I noticed a knife missing from my table. As it turned out, she needed a knife to cut cardboard. I had a Large Buck Vantage, Small Buck Vantage, Buck 309 pen knife, Case 32087 pen knife, Victorinox Bantam, and Bucklite 444. Any of them would have gotten the job done. I was surprised she chose the big, evil looking, black knife, the large Vantage. I asked her why she chose that one. She replied, "it looked like it would get the job done."

As good a reason as any! I myself laughed out loud when my fiancee grabbed my Para 2 but then couldn't figure out the compression lock... at least she has good taste in knives :D

LOL, I asked my wife how long it took her to figure out the liner lock. She said, "a while."

My wife has a CRKT Shrimp with a frame lock on her keychain. She called me on my way to the Dr. to ask how to fold the blade in on the 'stupid' knife. She's had the knife with her for over a year. Now I know how much she uses it......

Kind attention, The Converts Registry,
Started my "anti-knife-wife" with a SAK Spartan. And found that she actually uses it. No closure issues yet but she EDC's and uses a knife now.
Ka-Pow!

My wife started off by losing a Buck lockback that I still miss. I bought her a Dozier folder she carried for a few years, but she has commandeered my Vantage lately. She keeps hinting around that she needs a Delica.

My wife's go to blade on the kitchen counter is a custom 10V fixed blade of mine...... Lucky girl.
