Wife's and RATs

Sigh... Ok, I admit it... while I like the fact that my wife shares my enjoyment of a good quality knife... last week I started to get just a wee bit annoyed that I would go to grab my Izula and having it gone... in her purse, in the kitchen, in her glovebox.... etc. And not just the Black one OR the tan one, both... sigh. Tis ok, I can always take my Gossman PSK, but... but ... but...
DAMN it, I want to use my Izula....

So I told her this morning I was going to order one for her (mostly to get mine back). I figured I would get her a pink one, I have some really nice marron 550 paracord to wrap it with....

The first words out of her mouth when I mentioned buying her one were
"If you get me one of those damn girly pink ones...it'll be the last pink you see for a while..."

I ordered green :D
 
LOL :D. Now that's a wife to be proud of...even if it is a little annoying. Just make sure you get her that non pink izlula ASAP as there is a lot at stake here (and I'm talking about possibly not having your RATS around when you need 'em). :D
 
My lady will soon be toting a pink Izula, but she only went for it after being assured that it was a tough-looking pale pink, not some sort of 80's sparkle-rocker pink. It would have been black otherwise. :D

I got some strife from my significant other when i got a pink one as well. It did not matter that I pointed out that in the snow or dark bush I could find it, she just gave me sh-t anyway. And still does. It is still a bloody good wee knife!
 
I work in an environment where black, navy blue, desert tan, OD and camo uniforms are issued/worn. I bought a pink Izula for myself and took heat for it at work. When asked why pink, I told 'em that it might show up better in the woods and that they were less likely to steal it. They could not counter the logic. :p
 
Hmmm.. well while I do appreicate all the suggestions on reasons to order a pink Izula... well... ummmm I aint risking it. :D
 
I got the pink for the wife, and the green/orange handled rc-3 for her too. She picked it out cause she figured it would show up better in the deep dark places of her bag.
 
Ouch, you should have gotten an extra pink one for yourself, than gave here the OD one. :D

My problems are over.

The Mrs. decided that she was tired of begging and borrowing my blades and she picked up her own RC-3 TexasTonyDobbs edition OD and orange.

Ironically, she bought it from the man himself.
 
I had a pair both the same one for myself and one for my son, well he prefers the RC3MIL SE,I have so the OD/OR TTD RC3 was an extra & I thought I would help out my Friend Mrs.Shotty and give back Mr his DT RC3 back. Shotgunner gotta post pics when she gets it though
 
MY wife loves her Izula ,yes it is pink and #007 I am dreading the Day she starts to inch her way up the ladder to my RC3's & 4's
 
LOL , my wife watches me as I split wood and I watch and steal tid-bits while she cooks Bacon.....:D Turkey bacon Hmmmmm
 
I've actually found myself preferring turkey bacon lately! :eek: Regular bacon has just been making me feel slightly ill lately...am I coming to my senses? If I am, please stop me! :D
