Hi Everyone,

Sunday had to rush my wife to the ER. Severe guy pain. Turned out to be gallstones(thank god could have been MUCH worse). They cut it out on monday afternoon. EVerything went fine but she's not technically out of the woods yet even though its a routine surgery--ANY surgery makes me nervous as hell. So any prayers or good wishes sent her way are much appreciated! Thanks:)

BTW, I'm posting this from the hospital so I can't read my email at home for a few days.

Well then you'll just have to wait til you get home, won't you?

Seriously, prayers and smoke ( the good incense Bill and Yangdu gave me ) going up later this evening.

PS: my wife hasn't had any problem with her gallstones. But they are big enough to try to get rid of with meds.

Prayers on the way from Smithville, TX. praying for quick and complete recovery. We have seen the good of the group prayers before. Make sure you get some rest also. :)

Uwinv I'm so glad that your wife is alright!!!! Smoke will be going up shortly for her and your family!!!!

Rob,

Prayers going out. I'm glad to hear she's through the surgury... that's the biggest step. I wish her a speedy healing!

I went through the same operation back in '99... don't let her lift much for a few weeks. I was stupid enough to shoot a wedding two days after my surgery. I'm older and not so dumb these days :)

Dadgum, just logged on and saw this. Rob, have you a shot of whiskey for your nerves, it's hell when someone you love is in pain, prayers on the way buddy.

Hang in there, Rob. I had my gall bladder removed six years ago, and I can remember the kind of pain involved, so my prayers and good wishes are with you and your wife. If they were able to do the surgery laproscopically, she'll heal very quickly.

Wishing you both the best. Take care of yourself, too. Sarge's whiskey shot is an excellant idea.
