so i'm not trying to contend with the mods or anything, nor am i claiming to know the situation, but just out of pure curiousity, what exactly did wiinis do that got him banned? i know he was johnnycakesxxxx, but from what i've seen, the posts he made as wiinis weren't too bad. some of them, in fact, were even pretty good topics. he may have some trouble expressing himself very well, but that could very well just be because he's a kid or something. so i'm wondering, are we holding on to past offenses too tightly? or did "wiinis" do something else crazy to get himself banned?

Very simple.

He was a returning troll previously banned. If you're banned from BF, you're banned, regardless of what name you might choose when you try to return.

If a person who was banned wants to actually contact us we often forgive and forget and let them back in.

When they sneak back in, we ban them. Since by sneaking back in they send the message that they are back to cause problems rather than to correct their past behavior.

Take a look at Johnnycakes past behavior. It was detrimental to this community. Letting him back in without an effort on his part to say that he will behave would not be a good thing.
