Well, interesting fact I found today.

My friend was trying to search about Sebenza's on Wiki. But no results:barf:

Today I tried to search about Chris Reeve, crk, chris reeve knives, etc. no results either.

HOWEVER, there were results found on Strider, SNG, AR, etc...

not very fair is it? :thumbdn:

So, we should team together and make a page for them!. its not really fair for the world's best knife to get no wiki now is it :D

This is kind of off topic, but Chris Reeve is not the only popular knifemaker that is not in Wikipedia. Buck Knives doesn't have a page, neither does Schrade. I know Wiki is user created, but it seems like all three of these great companies (well two great companies and one former great company) should have pages, even if all the page had was basic info.

yeah but how often do you see wrogn information on Wiki...I would rather see no info on the sebenza than wrong info...plus less people to know about the great knives we love, more to us, lol...

On a serious note, yeah, perhaps someone should start a page for it?

Wikipedia is for things you don't know about, we all know about Chris Reeves knives.

Someone has written an article now. There seems quite a few spelling mistakes. You can also tell that it is written by a knife enthusiast as it gets into a lot of detail (maybe too much for the general reader? In its current state, it feels like the knife has a lot of flaws). Articles on other knives have a more general description.

Alright, I cleaned it up to make it flow better and deleted all of the rambling.

Please avoid strong opinions such as saying it is the perfect knife or the best workhorse out there.

A tag has been placed on Sebenza, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Grassfire 23:23, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Off topic again, but this is just complete lie. Walter Brend and Greg Lightfoot NEVER needed Microtech to gain popularity.
Wikipedia quote:
"Although these statements are only hearsay, it should be noted that neither of the custom knife makers would have gained the notoriety they have enjoyed without Microtech using and improving their designs."
