Enough wrought iron to last a few days. Over a hundred wagon rims. "Fiddler" Wise and me were catfish "hoggin" on the Ouachita river just north of Harrisonburg La, year was 1955. Found this anchor chain from a war between the states yankee gun boat.

Two coal fired forges from the days I had 5 Little Giant hammers runnin'. The one on the left burns 100lbs of Sewell vein coal per hour. Left hand holdin' a good sized chunk of damascus.

My shop. Big enough to build fairly good sized Ranger models. or a few 1911's. 100 feet long.

200lb Bradley strap hammer.

Cleston Sinyard and I have always believed an aged and work hardened steel makes better knives. this might last a day or two.

More good knife steel. Possibly late 1800's, early 1900's.

Mr. Caldwell,

I'm really glad to see you're doing well. I've enjoyed reading a lot of your 'View from the Hills" postings at pistolsmith.com. For a while there I thought that little storm a while back had washed you out.

Pleasure to see you here and I look forward to your insights and stories.
