Wild Steer TACR knife ??

There are Google references that may help you. However, there are SO MANY great knives with solid reputation in that tactical style, available at your local web-store, that I would be somewhat hesitant to jump to the unknown French one. Of course, everybody loves Opinel and that's a blood brother over there.
I would be more likely to consider ESEE, Bark River, Busse, Becker, SurviveKnives, Ka-Bar and so on. And you will find many reviews of these knives on this forum.
Good luck, and welcome to the Forum.

I haven't seen that one before, but I have seen some of their folders before. The WX folder, I think it's called, is an absolute tank. Literally as solid as a fixed blade when locked open.

I would hazard to guess that the rest of their stuff is pretty solid too.

I ordered a wildsteer ws folder received this week heavy duty folder made well stainless blade great review on utube for the wx the ws is a smaller version so far I like it locks up tight

That steel is similar to what has been used in various low to mid and a few "high end" kitchen knives. I cannot see how it would have any advantages over 3V, A2, or any other choices for a strong fixed blade. It might be more corrosion resistant, but that would be it I think. Don't get your hopes up too high for the edge holding ability. Chances are you'll be doing more sharpening than actually cutting with this steel.

I have a Wildsteer WX with the insanely strong WX-Lock® Double-locking system. As close to a fixed knife as you're likely to get from a folder. Definitely not fast deployment!

It uses X46Cr13 Stainless Steel.
