I'm checking out the additional podcasts listed. I already checked out 'The Survival Podcast.' It is very oriented towards what modern folks call 'prepping'. My thoughts on the whole 'prepping' thing are - welcome! That is how I grew up. We always had a garden, canned goods, guns, ammo, plenty of wood, etc. But then, I am an oddity. I grew up in the middle of nowhere out in the country and this was something you had to do in order to make it work when the power went out during an ice storm (winter) or thunderstorm (summer). The people in rural areas have been doing this since we settled the rural areas. We still have to rely on the sorts of things preppers are obsessing about for real on a fairly regular basis. Just realize, preppers, that you didn't invent this, discover it, or rejuvenate it. We've been doing this our whole lives before you figured out what it was, got a TV show, and got it marketed to you by Madison Avenue. And I'm not a crazy conspiracy theorist. Having some stuff on hand for disasters isn't crazy if it is the reality for you a couple times a year.
