  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Wilderness Survival: Building and using a wilderness survival kit

Definitely a neat link, here's a bump for this thing. I like the fellow who's lecturing, he does a good job of speaking without talking down to his audience. It seems to be an uncommon trait in 'wilderness' folk sometimes.

I really like the links to the other young 'survival' fellow, from Sweden or somewhere. Fun videos.

thanks for sharing, could anyone tell me moe about the light that snaps onto the 9 volt???

Sweet little light. Thanks for sharing the info and link. Damn you because I HAVE to spend a little more money :-)

It's a cool little light, but in a kit you need to pack the 9V battery as well. Personally, I wouldn't have any other reason to carry a 9V. Now if it were AA....

Attach a little container of steel wool and it's a fire kit as well as a light source!
