We have spent a lot more time on the river this summer and it seems like there is has been more wildlife than usual. Here are a few shots from one day.

Those are amazingly clear. What camera do you use and what kind of lens did shoot the pics with? I imagine it had to be someting with a powerful zoom.

Those are great pics mang!!!.....have you done anything under hard humidity? I'm having problems with the camera in the tropical jungle. Last time we went hunting we lost two cameras....they get busted.....

Platinum Pics Pepper  Thanks for sharing.

What a great place to spend time with the family!

Nice map too ;)

Those are great pics! We are planning our annual canoe trip up the Two Hearted river. We get lots of wildlife up there also. Last year we saw a Moose crossing the river.

Dude, if you're not already a pro, you need to enter some contests and submit some of those shots to potential publishers. Good stuff.

Wow, thanks everyone for the overwhelming response!

Cabra, I was in Central America a while back and did have some issues with a lens. A fungus was growing on one of the inner focusing elements, which had to be replaced. No camera body issuues however. I always kept them in a Pelican case when I was not shooting.

PropThePolecat, I use a Canon camera and only a 300mm medium telephoto. A boat is helpful too, it just rocks a lot.

Kurt, Lol mang!, I am in your back yard!

Guyon, in another life....
I grew up reading National Geographic as a kid and always wanted to be, "There". The best chance I had was to become a better photogragher. So I read as many books on the tech and artistic side I could find and still reference them to this day.
In the end I didn't get a job with NGS, didn't even try, I just enjoy it and apply it to what ever I am doing in the moment. I still push myself to continue to learn and I try to emulate a few pros. Maybe in another life I will wander the earth, submitting photos via sattellite to NGS, but until then I will post here, the only place I post. Had it not been for Jeremy I wouldn't be posting at all.

Thanks again guys!
