Decided to take a few pictures of some of the useful / dangerous things within arm's reach as I type this.

Here they are in 'less dangerous' mode...

That's Kong - she's pretty tough but if she gets hold of that Becker - yow!

I feel better now.

Kong might be one of the best names for cat ever. Nice collection. That dagger is fierce looking.

I have a Sheffield dagger, just like that one. Its an interesting knife to say the least. Some call it the Sykes dagger to.

Nice post, and great pic, Kahn.

That Fairburn fighting dagger has always intrigued me, as I have an interest in W.W.2. Neat to see one in a collection. I think that kong is reaching for one !

Thanks folks! Kong is cool though she shreds my ankle every chance she gets.

The 'hawk is a Ron LaClair Shrew Hawk. It's small enough to carry hunting and hand forged. I like it lots and much like the Beckers - it's reasonably priced.

The dagger is a Fairbairn-Sykes replica made by J. Nowill & Sons. My son got me that for my birthday. :D It has no cutting edge to speak of but it REALLY wants to stab stuff. I'm lead to understand thats the way the originals were made too.

I believe that the original dagger was British commando issue. Many were sent to Valhalla with that one.

Nice shots. I just got that coyote Dozier 2 weeks ago. Love it

When I was younger I destroyed one of those Fairbairn-Sykes replica dagger learing how to throw it...:D
