Hello Guys,
This is my creature made with so much passion for knives and technological materials.
In this case, I joined a great steel like ZDP 189 and the carbon fiber / Kevlar used for chassis racecars applications.
Convex Geometry is a variable cross-section, reinforced at the tip, but above all a geometry very sharp and easy to sharpen with diamond paste / Jeans / leather.
The knife was designed by me in on all sides, with the FEM simulating the critical areas.
Then I milled the blade and the handle with a CNC milling machine.
Some features Included:
Steel: ZDP 189 Hitachi with vacuum hardening, tempering and cryogenic 3. 66HRC
Lunghella blade: 180mm
Thickness: 5mm
Total length: 320mm
Handle made carbon fiber and Kevlar.
I hope you like it, now there are only the latest post treatment finishes and the locking of the handle, the handle has just been the most difficult job to study a excellent ergonomics and comfort.
