WilkinsGrips and pocket clip

Question re these grips and the pocket clip attachment...

The large Griptilian has metal inserts in the factory scales for the clip screws. Does the Wilkins grip have the same? I really hope the screws don't simply thread into the G10...

Is the mini-grip the same situation? I don't know how the clip attaches to the std scales on the mini, same way I assume?

That was my thought as well, but looking at pictures, if the back spacer was that large, I don't think the blade would clear it when folded.

I have a Ritter Mini on order, and already have a set of mini-Wilkins in the mail. I think they should be here tomorrow so will be able to confirm.

I looked at mine. One came pre-assembled on a knife, so I took one of the clip screws out (much longer than stock), and the other, a mini, I put on a Ritter version of the Mini-Grip myself.

Just got my mini Wilkins the other day. The clip screws screw into the metal liners which on the mini extend almost to the end of the scales, not the back spacer.

And man, do I love these scales. You are not going to believe how much different they make the knife feel.

My bust - I was in a rush - the mini version's clip screws screw into the stock Benchmade partial liner holes.

EDIT: Got so irked at getting my answer wrong I went and put a spare set of Wilkins scales on a spare mini-Ritter Grip. 15 minutes.

So in Summary:
Full Size = clips screws into backspacer.
Mini = Clip screws into the knife liner(s).

I can't wait for this M4 Ritter.

That's why I got my Wilkins, figured a blade like the M4 Ritter deserved some nice scales... I swore I was going to wait for the M4 to get here, but within 10 minutes I had my only other black-bladed Grip dropped in! Can't wait for the Ritter!
