Will 416 stainless work for framelocks?

Hey Guys
I've been using the .040" 410 stainless sheet that TKS and Koval both carry for liners so far, and it works fine but its a little on the thin side for some of the ideas I've had. I was hoping to find some 420 since that seems to be what most folks use for steel liners, unfortunately admiral's online store is down, so I can't even check to see what they have to offer (and I have a feeling I don't want to buy as much as they would sell in a lot)
TKS carries 416 in a size that would work for making framelocks with, and I was thinking that if 410 had enough spring for liners, then 416 should have enough too shouldn't it?

I know I should get with it and start using Titanium like everybody, but I've been pretty happy with how easy the stainless is to work with (I'm cutting everything out with a hacksaw)

Thanks

Never Mind
Koval's catalog says that 416 oil quenches to RC 39-41. Probably not quite hard enough. I emailed admiral about some 420.
