Will a Buck 112 sheath fit a 501 well?

I've been having a hard time finding a nice sheath for my 501. Will a 112 sheath work?

Otherwise, does anyone know of a good source for a nice 501 sheath?

Bucks website has 501 sheaths for sale.

the 112 sheath is a real sloppy fit.

Thanks for the info guys! I have the 501 sheath Buck makes, I was just looking for something nicer, and maybe open-top instead of flap closure.

Buck did make a nifty little pouch sheath for the 501, late 70's or early 80's I think. They do appear once in awhile on the auction sites but don't hold your breath. This is the only picture I happen to have off hand shown with some custom 110 sheaths.

There was also the Custom Shadow sheath for the 501. See upper right. I have never seen one in the wild.
