Will a Buck Max blade go into a 110 handle?

Can this be done without much difficulty?

I ask since it would be nice to have the double sided thumb stud which the Max has in a 110 frame.

Eric how well does the blade seat while shut. I'm thinking of the studs.

the studs are close to the brass ..
but are still very usable
the blade fits jest like a 110 blade

334dave - As our resident 110 expert, would you say this is a true drop point, or more of a saber point???

Not an expert by a long shot but it doesn't seem like a drop point to me. Something in between and saber may be the most accurate but I'll let the experts make the final call.

The Max is a great knife. I'm liking mine very well.

It looks like a California chip to me but I could bend to allow a modified clip . DM
