I am on the Company Disaster Team and will be leaving later on today, not sure exactly were I will end up, either Wilmington or the Outer Banks.

Taking 3 knives with me, S30V Military, S30V Para 2 and S90V Para 2, don't expect to need anything other than the S90V Para 2, but I guess you never know.

Well you are not under-knifed that's for sure!
Travel safe and be careful. Give us updates as you can...........

Leaving my Laptop home because I don't know what I will be getting into so I will be out of touch until I get back.

Not sure about security and things like that so I don't want to take anything of real value like a computer.

Not sure if the Internet would be working anyway..

I would suggest something serrated if you have it and a good multi tool.

Been through this kind of stuff before and have never had any use for a Multi-tool or ever in my life, don't own any SE knives.

Good luck to you and the rest of the rescue team, Ankerson.

I'm sure your Spydies will perform great. Do you plan on using them heavily? If so, are you bringing any sharpening equipment as well?

I am talking my Ceramics with me just in case, I doubt I will be using them hard, maybe a lot, but not too hard.

I think the S90V Para 2 should handle anything that would come up. :)

In true Ankerson style. ;)

Be safe, Jim. Let us know when you get back!

Oh I will. :)

Shouldn't be too bad, bad enough, not overbearing or anything because there are plenty of people going. :)

Will be watching that 2nd Hurricane close though to see where that is going.

Best wishes Jim, i'm sure folks where you are headed will appreciate every set of boots they can geton the ground. Be safe.

Highway 12 in OBX is a mess..I cant remember how many, but there are folks down there that are still stranded

I may see you depending on where the next hurricane goes. :-) I am a volunteer damage assessor for the Red Cross and was on standby for Irene. Thankfully they didn't need us. Good luck and be safe.

I may be in the wilmington area soon helping out, Im located in east central VT, if i see a guy with a s90v para 2 in his pocket ill know its you!

What no fixed blade? Is it a legal issue?

Stay safe & good luck:thumbup:
