Will Benchmade cover this?

Being an idiot, I was tightening a loose blade-stop screw on my 530 with a large handled screw driver and overtightened the screw, snapping the head off in the pillar. I know that BM supposedly has great customer service, but do you think that BM will cover this repair without charging me?
 
One small advise. It's better to call for an immediate response. BM CS seems to be a little slow on responding to emails.

Yeah I typically always call for warranty work because I don't like going through email for things like this.
 
Send it in with a note & a $5.00 m.o., had a blade that would'nt hold an edge, they replaced it & I had it back in about two weeks. No problems or questions asked. Excellent service. Gary
