will benchmade release a bali with handle inserts

Well, maybe in the future, but I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon.

Remember that Benchmade is very much a production company these days. Custom work is probably not a major goal of theirs.

Now, I am of the opinion that a machinest with a milling machine could cut inserts into the handles of a BM42 sacrificing the skeleton pattern, of course.
