My dads friend just gave me this, wants to know if i can get it covered by warranty. Its an old 110, with a stamp that says

Buck
..110..
U.S.A

this knife has the tip reground, and there was some chipping in the blade and it was reground to get trhe chips out. If i go to open this knife, something is horribly wrong with the action as it is VERY weak. I think there weas something wrong with the heat treat to begin with, as he said the blade tip broke off, and the bottom chipped in the same day, carving wood.

so whats the situation?

if anyoneneeds, i can take pics and email them.

AAron: Sorry no one has answerd your question yet. I think Joe and C.J. are out of town. Im sure they will replace it or repair it. Ill try to find joe and give you an answer. Paul Bos

Aaron,
You can send the knife in and we will fix it for you under warrantee. Chances are it will need a new blade and possibly a new spring. Make sure that you include a note with the knife explaining the problem and if the knife has sentimental value.
Hope this helps,

Joe ive sent the knife in with a note, maybe if you need to know, i never put this in, theres no sentimental value, so you guys can tear that baby apart.
