Hi guys.

Does anyone know if Buck will accept my order for a custom 110 and ship it to Greece?

As you guessed, i live in Greece and i need a realy awesome knife before the SHTF. Just kidding (hopefully!!!)

I was thinking about the 110 in s30v / no serrations, brass bolster, no fingergrooves, rivets and the asian waterbuffalo or walnut heritage handle.

well .. this is jest my personal thoughts based on what i am seeing on ebay
NO ... or rather i would not ...
now that said .. BUCK might try it
but based on what i am seeing happening
is that many sellers are starting to exempt selling to many countrys
and read that Greece's customs is seasing most things that are shiped there
esp knives...
i am seeing seller after seller say they will not ship there...
things vanish and the buyer wants his money back ...
Germany is also one of the countrys that many sellers will not ship to now
as it takes so so long to clear custome ....
i reacently had a package returned from there..

IF it were me and you were willing to gamble on your own customs then
yes i would ship
but at your risk ...
i wish i was wrong ... but you will have to ask buck directly
and you can do this via email ...
i dont think Joe would know off the top of his head..

110 Dave, thank you for your answer. you are right about the greek custom service. their service is unreliable at best. sometimes stuff reaches you within days and sometimes within months. and i am pretty sure that stuff that "disappears" in limbo, simply gets stolen. what can i say, things never did run smoothly here in greece and now things will shift from bad to worse. maybe i can get a friend of mine who travels between the US and greece to get me one. if not, its going to be a generic one. ill also try to contact buck. thank you again for your help.

Check with Cabela's - they still list their S30V Alaskan Guide 110 - brass bolsters/Dymondwood scales.Great knife - if you can get one. No 4-6+ week wait, as in a custom knife. Good luck.

I hope you are able to order! The Buck website does not accept non-USA/Canada credit cards due to frauds, so I needed a friend in the USA to order...

The last time I tried to buy from Buck they advised me that not only do they no longer accept foreign credit cards, they will not accept electronic orders from overseas and that you must write to them with your order - not quite sure why that is.

Cabelas readily accept orders from overseas for most of their range but they will not sell knives as part of overseas orders.
