Will Buck still custom a 112? Rivits or No-Rivits?

I was wondering if Buck is still taking custom orders for the 112's? I saw a post that you needed to call in or e-mail.

Also, is there a benefit to rivits or no-rivits on custom orders besides personal preference?
 
I don't think Buck is doing any more custom 112s... But what do I know... It's just what I hear...
 
You guys are miles ahead of me...I've never heard of Buck doing any custom 112's...or working on them...(except warranty)...
 
Here is the story on the CS112s. There was a lot of whining, begging, and carrying on on this very forum about Buck making us a CS112. And what do ya know, they decided to do it and opened a 60 day window for orders back last Oct 1st.

And that was the end of it. We've been told it was a one time event. Sorry you missed it.

Btw, that was mostly me doing the whining and begging. Bucksway did most of the carrying on.:D
 
Good timing --
Sometime this coming week, I was planning to put my CS 112 (S30V, Heritage walnut, NS, pins) up on Ebay. I've been selling off many of my folders lately and this one will be one of the new "casualties." So, keep your eyes peeled.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong but all sold on e;bay so far have sold for more than origional cost....Yes I did get a little excited about CS 112's and did manage to order the 1'st and last...If $$$$$ looks good over the next year I'll try to pick up every one I can.Remember there were likley less than 100 ordered making every one rare....And hard to find....they are all 'one of a kind....
 
Warrior sold 2 of his three for enough profit to pay for his third that he just anounced he was going to sell. I bought a FG/Cherry/NS from the Buck sale forum for original cost. I have not seen any other for sale...and I'm always looking. Bucksway is right, they are going to be hard to find.

In hindsight I shouldn't have mentioned it here since I think that is dangerously close to a rule violation. So, I'm not going to write more about it. Please PM (or watch EBay) if interested).
 
Maybe not now,but in as little as a year,prices will be close to doubling...The plain fact is verry,verry, verry few people even know Buck offered them! There was no notice on Buck's web site.Even forum members missed it if they did not catch the few threads we talked about it.But I feel that will be where it will top out at. Most ordered cost around 100.00 or so...Ones with serrations, finger grouves,pricer wood,S30-V will go for 250.00 to 300.00 but no higher....Leroy can make a 'NICE' 112 for 200.00....My best est. is that fewer than 20 will ever hit the market..Mine neaver will....
