Will Buck Thug scales fit a Buck Reaper?

Have a buddy who wants to give me OEM Micarta scales from his Thug, I hate the Rosewood on the reaper, if they fit, I'll go buy the walmart Rosewood Reaper just to swap the scales. I've been wanting the Reaper anyways, I just HATE those stupid squared off Rosewood scales. I know they come with different nylon scales too, don't really like those either and they are more money.

Anyone have center to center dimensions for scale holes on the Reaper and Thug?
 
No idea. The Thug has a finger groove/recess in the handle as well as some other differences. Best bet is to go to Walmart and lay one of your scales on top of the Reaper and see how things line up.
 
If you look at the reaper, it has the same choil but the rear finger groove of the scale could easily be ground down if the scales were used for the Reaper, the scales just don't profile to match it.



 
It looks to me like the holes are in a different position, at least the front hole on the Thug looks further forward to me.
 
Two different knives.

Here is a current pic of the Thug. The latest are flat grind.
 
I do have a small supply of the flat Micarta used.
