Make the handles more narrow and shorter to compensate for us guys with smaller hands? Please help us shorties out!

While my hands are "small" and my fingers are "short" I don't have a problem with the Busse handles. Mean Streets and Satin Jacks are great choices for older Busses for people like us. (But it still feels GREAT to BASH the SH*T out of STUFF with my Battle Mistress E) Look at almost all of the new models. (BA3, PD, GM, etc.) All of them should fit your hand just fine. At least to me it looks like Jerry has already taken your request and produced the knives.

Now Jerry, get back to the grinder... I need my Pepper Shaker.
:D

I have small hands too. I prefer the handles on the SJs
and the new Badger. But I have no problem swinging my
Battle Mistress!!;) :D :p

Bladeswinger,

You asked something I have been wondering about also, especially with the new Busse line being developed. I have always found the E handles just a little too big around to be comfortable for my hand size (more specifically, the handle height is a little too big). The size (and shape) of the Basic 7/9 handle is just about right for me, although I like the smaller Basic 3/5 handle too (the Resiprene C only adds to the comfort of the Basic handles).

So what’s the answer, because one size does not fit everyone when it comes to knife handles?

Jerry, have you ever considered handle slabs that screw on, that would come in something like small, medium and large sizes? I think this would be a good solution to the problem, as long as they were easy to change by the knife owner(s).

What does everyone else think about replaceable handle slabs in different sizes?

Gene

You should find the satin Jack and Badger Attack generation 3 handles more to your liking of the /E handles were too big.

The posts about the Basics made me get my #5 and #7 our for some handling time.:)
