Now what the heck is a " Hawbaker" knife. It is a
variation of the double end trapper slipjoint that
replaces the spey blade with a long sheepsfoot.
That to me is the ideal pocket knife ,if made right.
I got lucky, sort of, awhile back and happend on a
Buck (camillus contract) 313 knife . A really swell
design that has all the right stuff....except ...that it
has a spey on one end. ARgggggg! So close and
yet so far. Now I know I can find a Hawbaker in
some other knife line , I have one, they just are not
Camillus. They don't measure up to Camillus.
My question is there a possiblity that Camillus
will ever add this pattern to the "Yello-Jaket' line???
Please!!!!!!
