Will Disassembling my Kershaw Blackout void the warrantee?

Young Cutter,

I'm pretty sure taking it apart will void the warranty. I've heard first hand that Kershaw gets a lot of knives back in plastic baggies (a knife in pieces) or knives that were reassembled incorrectly. I don't think the design of the Blackout was really made so the knife could easily be taken apart and reassembled at home...

p.s. I've taken apart my Random Task...it's pretty neat. :) I just wouldn't send it back if I messed it up. ;)

If I messed it up and couldn't get it together again I would send it back to Kershaw. I just wouldn't expect them to fix it under warranty. If they did, that would be great, but it should not be expected.

Heh, thanks, I was just curious... I guess I just won't endeavor to disassemble my Blackout unless I feel it to be absolutely necessary.
