Just sitting here thinking and got to wondering will GEC ever make any knives with damascus?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Forum Knife? *ducks*
Maybe they could use the Devon Thomas stuff like Case does, and keep the cost down?
I know that I love the stuff in my Case damascus peanut, and it is at least equal to the CV, maybe a bit better. Hard to judge as it's eird stuff, and does not act like plain steel, but keeps a edge that even when it feels dull, will saw through rope and cardboard. Maybe they should have a GEC easy open jack in Thomas damascus?
Carl.
+3, as long as we can keep costs reasonable.
Better consider a single blade established pattern for that I would think.
Ebony TC damascus barlow?
